What this service is

Sound More Human takes text you provide and asks an AI model to rewrite it with more varied sentence structure and more natural rhythm. It saves each rewrite to your history so you can come back to it. That is the whole of the service.

It does not claim any particular result with AI detectors, and nothing in these terms should be read as promising one.

Your account

You need an account to use Sound More Human beyond its one free trial rewrite, and you are responsible for what happens under it, including keeping your password to yourself. One account is for one person; do not share credentials. If you are using the service on behalf of an organisation, you are confirming you may accept these terms for it.

An account that is being used in breach of these terms can be disabled, which signs it out of the product and refuses further rewrites.

Acceptable use

• Do not submit content that is unlawful where you are, or that you have no right to use.
• Do not use Sound More Human to misrepresent who wrote something where that is prohibited — academic work whose rules forbid it is the obvious case, and it is your responsibility to know the rules that apply to you.
• Do not use the output to deceive people about whether text was written or edited by a machine, where honesty about that is required or expected.
• Do not try to work around the usage limits — rotating accounts, automating the editor, or reselling access as your own service.

What the rewriting does, and what it does not

Every rewrite is produced by an AI model, and nothing in Sound More Human checks the rewrite against what you wrote.

Rewritten text may change meaning or introduce errors. You are responsible for checking it before you use it.

That applies to facts, names, numbers, quotations and citations alike. Treat the output as a draft to read, not as a result to publish unread.

Plans, billing and cancellation

A free account includes 500 words a month. Starter costs $7 a month or $60 a year and carries 10,000 words a month; Pro costs $15 a month or $120 a year and carries 50,000 words a month. Allowances are metered as you use them and reset each month; there are also per-request length limits and short-window rate limits, which exist to keep the service usable and to keep costs predictable.

Payment is taken by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you cancel from the billing portal, which you reach from your billing page. Cancelling stops future renewals and leaves your access in place until the end of the period you have already paid for. Sound More Human does not process refunds automatically; if you think you are owed one, write to the address below.

Prices can change. If they do, a change takes effect at your next renewal and not during a period you have already paid for.

Availability and changes to the service

Sound More Human depends on a third-party AI provider, on hosting, and on a database, and any of them can be unavailable. Features, models and limits can change. Where a change would reduce what a paid plan includes, it takes effect at your next renewal.

No warranty

The service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Sound More Human does not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, that it will be free of defects, or that any given rewrite will suit your purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Sound More Human and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost or corrupted data, arising out of your use of the service. Total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limits like these, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits and your statutory rights are unaffected.

Changes to these terms

These terms can change. When they do, the date at the top of this page changes with them, and a change that materially reduces your rights will be posted here before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute arising out of them belongs in the state or federal courts sitting in Georgia.

Where the law where you live gives you rights a contract cannot remove — consumer protection rules in the EU, the UK and elsewhere commonly do — those rights still apply and the paragraph above does not displace them.
